Nick Morris

Director

Nick Morris began his career as an editor, cutting classic Music Videos for artists including Queen, Duran Duran, Iron Maiden, and Bonnie Tyler’s “Total Eclipse of the Heart” (for which he received a D & AD award).

He then moved into directing, shooting over 120 music videos and long forms for artists as diverse as Stevie Wonder, Kirsty McCall, Go West, Status Quo, Natalie Cole and The Scorpions in the USSR.

Nick has gone on to become a highly acclaimed director for live event cinema including directing Les Miserables The Concert released 2020, Lazarus, Everyone is Talking About Jamie, 25th Anniversary of Phantom of the Opera, The Cirque Du Soleil’s “Varekai” and “Alegria” (which was nominated for a Primetime Emmy), The Shaolin Monks and a film production of “Jesus Christ Superstar”, which won an International Emmy.  Along with music films for Jamiroquai, AC/DC, Roger Waters’ “Dark Side Of The Moon Live” and many other  TV/DVD projects including The Mighty Boosh, Bill Bailey, Cat Stevens, Mitchell & Webb.  In addition, he has directed many theatrical promo videos, including those for The Producers, Spamalot!, Hairspray, and Guys & Dolls.
